BAKERY PHONICS ROOM TRANSFORMATION

$3.50

BAKERY PHONICS ROOM TRANSFORMATION

Transform your classroom into a bakery to whip up some words using phonetic rules! Based on the Science of Reading, your learners will take a deeper study into phonetic rules and learn to apply those rules when spelling age appropriate words.

This resource includes:

-A lesson guide for teachers

-The lesson includes four tasks:
Shopping: a write the room style activity. Students are given a shopping list of phonetic rules. They go around the room to find the words under that rule.

Stock the Pantry: Students take their items from their shopping list and work together to sort them.

Baking Time: Students use the recipe cards to create words using the ingredients list provided in each envelope.

Sweet Treats: As students complete their recipe cards, have them snack on a sweet treat!

-Powerpoint slides to guide your lesson
