Making the Cut– a fun, interactive game that helps learners understand why God only chose 300 to fight. Learners are given a card and will find out who really is meant to help fight with Gideon.
God’s Power Book- Read ‘The Magical Yet’ and make connections with the story of Gideon. Your learners can write and draw of a picture of how God gave them power to do something difficult. Combine all pictures to make a book.
Spirit Supplies Craft- Learners will create a torch, horn and jar to represent power, love and self discipline-traits that help us accomplish anything through God.
Memory Verse- learners trace the week’s memory verse, color the picture and glue/staple the memory verse bracelet to take home.
Coloring Page- learners can color at the beginning or end of the lesson. Use red, yellow and orange tissue paper as an alternative to coloring.
