NURSERY RHYMES LAPBOOK

A fun, interactive way to learn about nursery rhymes is by using this Nursery Rhymes Lapbook!

This lapbook includes resources to teach 10 popular nursery rhymes. Each nursery rhyme comes in a small booklet with a different learning focus for each. Complete each nursery rhyme and glue the booklets onto the lapbook to use throughout the year!

THIS LAPBOOK INCLUDES

Cover

Have your learners color and cut the cover page. Fold a large piece of construction paper or file folder where the ends go to the center. Glue the cover page on the top and cut down the middle after the glue dries.

Nursery Rhyme Title

Have your learners color and cut the title. Glue the title on the top of the inside of the lapbook (matching the hands on the cover before gluing).

Baa, Baa, Black Sheep

Read the nursery rhyme together and color the pictures. Have your learners trace the numbers for each bag of wool. Glue or staple the book together and glue the last page onto the lapbook.

Hey Diddle Diddle

Read the nursery rhyme together and color the pictures. Have your learners match the picture to the correct page. Glue or staple the book together and glue the last page onto the lapbook.

Hickory Dickory Dock

Read the nursery rhyme together and color the pictures. Have your learners match words to the correct picture on page 4. Glue or staple the book together and glue the last page onto the lapbook.

Humpty Dumpty

Read the nursery rhyme together and color the pictures. Have your learners glue the correct word on each page. Glue or staple the book together and glue the last page onto the lapbook.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Read the nursery rhyme together and color the pictures. Have your learners glue the sight word “the” to the rhyme. Glue or staple the book together and glue the last page onto the lapbook.

Jack and Jill

Read the nursery rhyme together and color the pictures. Have your learners glue the text to the correct picture. Glue or staple the book together and glue the last page onto the lapbook.

Little Bo Peep

Read the nursery rhyme together and color the pictures. Have your learners answer the comprehension questions. Glue or staple the book together and glue the last page onto the lapbook.

Little Miss Muffet

Read the nursery rhyme together and color the pictures. Have your learners relate to the character by explaining how they would react in the same situation. Glue or staple the book together and glue the last page onto the lapbook.

Mary Had a Little Lamb
